Your child will enjoy a full day of Mad Science fun! In the morning, whether your child loves to build things or destroy them, this week includes lots of both! The junior Mad Science engineers will design and build bridges and "skyscrapers" using simple tools and their imaginations. Kids will even construct a geodesic dome big enough for all the campers to sit inside! Then the machine madness starts as they discover how many different machines, simple & complex, we use in our daily lives. Campers will have fun designing simple machines using pulleys, wedges, screws and levers. Then we move on to engineering in action – your kids work together to brainstorm, design, test, evaluate and redesign problem-solving contraptions!

Then in the afternoon, Rockin' Rockets Children will step into the shoes of a rocket scientist and learn the fundamentals of flight, propulsion, and rocket design. We'll have fun exploring astronomy and trying out various flight designs from hot air balloons to use as hovercrafts (and many more!) We'll launch a real model rocket every day and kids will build and take home their own Mad Science model rocket.
