After-School Programs

All About Our After-School Programs!
Designed for kids ages 5-12
1-hour class per week for 6, 8, 10 or 12 weeks. Longer extended day/hours programs are also available

After-School Program Pricing
As low as $19
- 1-hour class, once per week for 6 or 8 weeks
- Typically 1 Mad Scientist plus assistant or parent volunteer
- Educational science-themed take-homes 1 per class
- Prices vary depending on the program theme, the school district, and the program length. Please check out the programs available at your child’s school for more pricing information, or contact us, your PTO, local parks-and-rec or school after-care coordinator to get one going.

When I pick up my son from school on Fridays, his energy is different from any other day. FAQ
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if more than 7 days before the start of a program. Credit then offered for a future Mad Science program up to the start date. Partial credit may be offered in some circumstances at Mad Science discretion after program has started.
+When do I pay?
Payment required at time of registration. Mad Science accepts credit & debit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line system) Mail-in checks are accepted, but registration is not complete until we receive payment - a class may fill on-line before we receive your mail-in registration. Payment plans are available.
+What is your class cancellation policy?
We follow the inclement weather and school closure policy of the school district for each class. We attempt to schedule a make-up class provided their is time before the start of the next program. Sorry, no refunds or credits are provided if a class can not be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control.
+What if I think my child might be too old/too young for the program, or they have special needs or behavioral issues?
We do our best to make the class fun for the advertised age range, as well as to accommodate kids with special concerns. Help us understand beforehand what might work for your child. However, if your child starts a program and you just don't think it is "for them" for any of these reasons, please contact us. We may issue a credit or refund.
