Eureka!

Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.

Secret Agent Lab

This program features fun-filled, hands-on, secret agent-themed science activities that allow kids to play detective, explore forensic science, sharpen their surveillance skills, and crack encrypted messages. Kids become super sleuths!

Space and Beyond!

Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they participate in a rocket launch!

E2 - Engineering Explorers

If child loves to build things or destroy them, this week includes lots of both! The junior engineers will design & build bridges & "skyscrapers" using simple tools and their imagination. Kids will even construct a geodesic dome big enouigh for all the campers to sit inside! Then the machine madness starts as they discover, build and invent with simple machines, & solve problems with contraptions

Gross-O-Rama

Get ready for the science of grossness and ickiness! Discover the yucky science of bodies, chemistry, polymers, germs and nature. Learn how to extract DNA from various places, discover how germs spread, find out what an owl eats by owl pellet dissection, follow the human digestive process through GROSS hands-on play, and experiment with ooey gooey polymers and more! Eeew....THAT'S GROSS!

Red Hot Robots

Children will learn the basics of robotics by constructing their own age appropriate robot throughout the week. They will gain a basic knowledge of the science of wheels, simple machines and gears. They will experience different types of robotic devices including line-tracking and responsive robots. Robots go home with campers on the last day of the program. Supplies included!

Rockin' Rockets

Children will step into the shoes of a rocket scientist and learn the fundamentals of flight, propulsion and rocket design. We'll have fun exploring astronomy and trying out various flight designes from hot air balloons to hovercrafts (and many more!) We'll launch a real model rocket every day and kids will build and take home their own Mad Science model rocket.

Crazy Chemworks

We'll learn about the tools scientists use in their laboratories, as well as atoms, molecules and reactions, acids and bases, fluorescence and phosphorescence. We'll also examine and investigate super sticky things by exploring suction, hydrogen bonding and static cling. We'll also see some very cool dry ice demonstrations! Continue the science at home with fun labware take-homes and experiments.

Junior Scientist

This preschool program offers young children (ages 3-5) an exciting introduction to science as they explore the human body and our senses. Kids also experience the science of colors and how things move. They become paleontologists by searching for fossils in a mini dinosaur dig. They also take and exciting mission to explore planets, moons and stars, then continue the science with take-homes.

BRIXOLOGY

Using LEGO® bricks, kids build a different engineering-themed project in each class. They explore different engineering fields, including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bioengineering. They use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.
